What is Aggie Day?
Aggie Day is UC Davis’ one-day open house celebration for admitted first-years, transfers and their families. It’s a chance to celebrate, build connections and discover what it means to be an Aggie. Thanks to all the new Aggies and families that joined us on April 11!
Before the event
Registration requirement
Admitted students must register to attend Aggie Day. Check back for registration information.
Only admitted students can register. Visit MyAdmissions to view your admissions status.
Choose sessions to attend
Explore the agenda and select sessions based on your interests. Plan your day before you arrive and experience all that Aggie Day offers. View the archive agenda from the most recent event.
Register for a campus tour
Aggie Day campus tours are 30 minutes and led by a current student tour guide. Housing tours are offered separately and are not included in the general campus tour. Check back to learn how to register for an Aggie Day campus tour.
Day of information
Event check in
Registrants (admitted students) receive a text message the morning of Aggie Day with a link and instructions to check in. Plan extra time to park and walk to your first session.
Guest check-in information
Only registrants (admitted students) receive a check-in link. Guests are checked in automatically.
What to bring
We highly recommend that you bring comfortable walking shoes, clothes to dress for the weather, a reusable water bottle and a bag for giveaways!
Bring your MyAdmissions login credentials if you want to Submit your Intent to Register, known as SIR, at our celebration booth.
Parking information
Aggie Day parking is free for admitted students and their families! Avoid limited time zones, restricted areas and reserved spaces. Check back for more parking details.
Accessibility information
Plan to walk long distances across campus. Aggie Day does not offer transportation accommodations. All buildings are wheelchair accessible. The resource fair takes place on grass, and campus tours begin at the Memorial Union Quad before they continue along sidewalks and bike paths. Some events are on grass.
Food and drink policy
Lunch is available for purchase but you may bring your own food and drinks. Eating or drinking inside classrooms is not allowed.
Service animal policy
Only service animals trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities are permitted. Emotional support, comfort and companion animals are not allowed.
Lost and found
Visit the information booths on the Memorial Union Quad for all lost item inquires.
